I've got a decent-sized website (1.17 Gb) that I have built over the years. It is just standalone html pages (with lots of graphics and video). Its at http://www.iampeth.com
I used Frontpage to build the pages, but only as a WYSIWYG html editor.
Just in the last week or so, with ya'lls help (thanks Rob!) I've created a little website in Frontpage, and built a couple of forms that work great!
http://www.iampeth.com/online_membership_form.htm
http://www.iampeth.com/registration.htm
The two webs live in different places on my harddrive.
Right now, I'm FTPing the 'standalone' site, and publishing the FP forms up to my webhost, so that the little FP site is kind of "nested" in my existing site, if that makes sense.
What I'm wondering.... is should I go ahead and put the whole enchilada into my Frontpage web? Its kind of a pain keeping up with 2 separate webs on my local drive.. FTPing the 'standalone', and publishing the FP forms.
1.. What would be the advantages?
2.. Any weirdness or badness to watch out for?
3.. If I import it, first time I publish is it going to take 10 years?
4.. How's the best way to do it? Can I just manually copy the 'standalone' files into my FP web?
Thanks for any input!
