Facelift for VBKS

Hello,

Are there any solid reasons why a website built with FP 2000 should be
rebuilt from the ground up with FP 2002 rather than simply importing it as
to give it a major facelift? I must use FP 2002 on the operating system I am
currently running, 98 SE, but I do have FP 2003 and will install that on a
new computer soon running XP.

My website is off the beaten path using a standard template that is also
photographic intensive, and I want to add slide shows and other photographic
features to help present photos.

as this is the website I would like to give a face lift too without loosing
the theme/template/feel.

Your feedback is truly valued and will be given careful consideration, so
your help here will not go to waste, nor will it be taken for granted. I'm
not an expert at this and have no formal training, , but I have four years
and hundreds of hours with FP 2000.

PS: Yes, I know all about Dreamweaver and have that program as well. I want
to stick with FP for this particular website for now.

None, but you must open the site directly in FP2002 locally or on a server that has the FP2002
extensions to have all theme component migrated to FP2002, especially if using a theme that is not
available in FP2002.

Also if a theme that is in FP2000 is also in FP2002, it might have been modified, and you will see
the modified version.

Not really - it will function as normal. FP 2002 has a few extra functions
that's all, but otherwise just open an existing web and continue working on it.
