Should I use default.htm or index.htm on my hope page

Hello!

I'm in the progress of developing a home page using IIS and frontPage. What
name should I have on the initial home page should I use index.htm or
default.htm
when testing on my computer when I have IIS or can I use whichever of these
two.

Use whichever one your host requires...check with them.
