Should I use Load or initialise for form field initialisation

I am trying to decide which of these two I should put my filed
initialisation in. Can anyone advise the pros & cons and therefore
best practice.

And speaking of best practice I know that there are some conventions
for variable naming that are regarded as best practice and good for
readability. I have got some habits of my own that help me but before
they become irreversable can someone tell me where there is a
reference source of the recognised conventions

Liz:

You've got me beat on the first question. In Word 2000 I don't have a Load
event for a userform. So all my control value initialization goes in the
Initialize event.
