Should the Office 2007 ribbon be dumped?

I've found the "ribbon" to be time consuming. If what you're looking for is
not there, good luck. I request that microsoft bring back the traditional
menus and allow my normal.dot to be utilized in Office 2007. I've been using
Office since its roll out way back when.

Not going to happen. Current plans are to further extend the ribbon into non-Office 2007 applications like the main Outlook window and other non-core office programs.
