Show cost per month and organize it

I want to form a tabular report that showing cost per month and then organize it by "responsibility". I can print a report which is grouped by month but I could not organize the responsibility. However, I want to show it in the Microsoft Project instead of printing it out. Hope anyone here can help, Thanks.

Hello lee ww,

What precisely do you mean by "responsibility". Do you mean by
assigned resource? Have you used a spare field to record the
responsibility value?

The views that are similar to the cross tab reports are the Task
Usage and Resource Usage view.
