show data in access

hi,

in excel when i start typing data it automatically shows the best match
based on the previous entries in a column. Is it possible in access so that
when i enter data in form or table it will show me the best match based on
the previous records.

Yes... if you use a Combo Box, or write some VBA code. Try the combo box
first.

Just be sure you're not treating Access as "Excel on steroids". It's a
different program and requires a very different mindset and design approach!
