Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: intel
My older version of Word for PC had a button on the "edit" menu called "Show Hide" that allowed you to see the paragraph marks, carriage returns, indents, tabs, etc. (It's the button with the backward "P" on the formatting toolbar).
I looked for this function on Word for the Mac but couldn't find it so figured it wasn't available. However, I accidentally hit one of the control keys along with another keyboard key, and the paragraph formatting suddenly appeared in my document. It's nice to know it's still around, but HOW DO YOU TURN IT OFF AND ON? Need to know how to turn it off more than on.
Thanks,
Gail
