Show/Hide Objects in Mac 2008 like on Windows 2007?

I created a slide in PPT 2007 on a PC that has 25 objects and about 50 animation instructions. Works great.

I'm now editing the slide on Mac PPT 2008, and can't find the Mac equivalent to the Selection Pane -- the equivalent of a Photoshop show/hide window for objects on the slide.

Without hiding the elements in front, there is no way that I can edit or even select items closer to the bottom.

How do I show/hide elements on a Mac PPT 2008 slide?

Thank you!

AFAIK that's a new feature that was added to the 2007 version which has not
been added to the Mac version. If you want to see it in a future release use
Help> Send Feedback to voice your opinion. I doubt it's something that can
be added to 2008 by way of an update, however.
