I expect multi-record to be found in the form. How can I
show user a message and/or 1st record found while computer
continues to find 2nd, 3rd record.

I think the question you should be asking yourself is why does it take so
long to find the records in the first place. Perhaps you can supply a more
extensive description of what you are doing allowing others in this group to
explore how to speed things along and negate the need for a "Please Wait..."
screen.

You don't need to do anything if you turn the navigation buttons on. It will say
something like Record1 of 5 Filtered meaning your form found 5 records and you
are on the first record.
