Show multiple photos (detail) for each user (master) on a form/sub

I wish to develop an access 2003 db which needs to allocate multiple
photographs - each with a selectable category - to individual users in a
master/detail scenario.
I wish to link to - not embed - each jpeg file and have tried using the
image control on sub form. But, as I have now discovered with Access, as soon
as I assign a picture to this control, all the records on the subform show
the same (current) picture.

Is there a clean solution to this scenario without having to embed each
photo, as their numbers will be significant?

Many thanks.

The simplest solution will be to upgrade to Access 2007.

In the new version, the image conrtrol has a Control Source property. You
can therefore use the path to the linked JPG as the Control Source of the
image control, and it will show correctly in a continuous form.

More info on how to adapt to the new version:

Thanks Allen,

Given that an upgrade is not an option at this time, is there any way around
this in Access 2003? Many thanks.

Couldn't find anything in a Master/Detail setup.

Could I Create an instance of a form (one for each photo) for each record on
the subform? Or would that just show the same image on each detail record as
the Image control does?

Thanks.

You could use multiple instances of the form, so each has one currrent
record.

There are 3rd party controls you can buy.

Unless someone else's policy is preventing you from upgrading, moving to
A2007 would be by far the easiest.
