Show No Activity on Summary Bar

Can I show the down time on a summary bar if I have multiple activites
below a summary task that are spread out over time with no work being
done in between each task? I would like to see the breaks in a
certain view in the schedule.

Hello,

You can do that using the "Roll up Gantt bar to summary" option in the Task
Information dialog (General tab) of each subtask.
For the Summary itself, you check the Hide task bar option.
You may change the aspect of thes Rolled Up Task (Shape and pattern) in the
format / Bar styles dialog
