Show on Calendar appt starting 8/7-9/8 but only M-F

I am trying to schedule a project to show starting Friday 8/7 through
Tuesday 9/8, but I only want it to show M-F. I can get the reocurrence
to show as individual days, but would like them to show as week long
projects without having to enter the project for each week.

Can anyone help?

Why not create an all-day event with a start date of 8/7 and an end date of
9/8? Who cares if it crosses the weekends? Alternatively, create three
events: one all day event for 8/7, one all-day event recurring weekly for four
weeks starting 8/10 and ending 8/14, and one all-day event starting 9/7 and
ending 9/8.
