Show only lower outline level

A

Andy

I have a large document that goes down to 4 levels in the outline/headings (1
- 4). Within the document I also have a list of todo items spread throughout
that I want to associate to level 5. I then want to only show this level 5 so
I can easily pickout and copy the list of level 5 todo's. My problem is I
cannot just show the lower level 5 as it always shows all the levels higher
up.

Any clues?

Hi Andy

Word's Outline View won't just display the Level 5s.

But you can make yourself a to do list by creating a Table of Contents that
only uses the style you used for the todo's.

I often do this to create a summary of recommendations in a report. I use
one style just for the recommendations, then create a Table of Contents at
the end of the document that creates the summary.

Hope this helps.
