Showing movie clips in Powerpoint

I’ve got a bit of a problem when I connect the laptop to a projector. It will
quite happily show our powerpoint presentation on both the laptop screen and
the projector, but as soon as we have a movie in the presentation it shows up
blank unless I do F7 again and loose the picture on the laptop.
