showing #Name? in form field

I imported data from an Excel spreadsheet into a new table. Then I used an
Append query to add the fields I needed to my existing blank 'tblConsumer'.
I also appended the fields I needed for my blank subform table 'tblProgram'.
I have 3 fields, one text, one date and one memo, that have #Name? in each of
these fields. Some records have data in these fields and some don't, but
even the ones that have data still show #Name? for that record. I've checked
the data types, and input masked for these and nothing wrong there. I even
checked the data types in the spreadsheet. I need to take out this Name....
Can someone help me with this?
