Showing project stages in color

Hello,

How do I show different stages of my project on the Gantt chart by filling
areas with color and putting a comment ? I do not want to see super-tasks on
the chart however.

You can filter out the Summary lines by applying an "All Tasks"
filter, with the "Show Summary tasks" option de-selected. You can put
in comments by using the Drawing toolbar to insert text boxes. As far
as coloring areas, I don't know of any way to do that in Project.
