Showing thumbnails of pictures in outline mode

Hello,

Outline mode is great for a high-level view of the document
structure. The presence of large figures (graphics, pictures) really
throws a wrench into this view. Is there a way to relegate figures to
thumbnails or even generic place-holders when using outline mode?
