Shrinking Text

Ole

Hi everybody,

in our Office (Word) 2007 application, WTS 2008x64, the following happens
(for some - not all- users):

A text is written and formatted normally and without any problems.

The document shall be printed. After the printjob is executed, the chracters
of the text lines are compressed to only a few millimeters in width. The
font height remains normal. Nothing is legible. This now ocurs on the
printed doc as well as on the screen. After the doc is saved and opened in a
different session, everything is OK and works well...

What can I do?
As always, every help and every bit of your time is really appreciated.

Thank you

Ole

This is a known problem with HP printer. Word seems to get incorrect
information from the printer driver on print. Usually closing Word and
restarting sorts out the problem. make sure that both Office and the printer
driver are fully up to date. Make sure that the printer drivers are
correctly installed locally on each PC and that they can see the printer
correctly at all times.
