Shruti Font.

a Friend or colleague in my Association send stuff in Shruti Font face.

Is there a Mac version of such a font.

But when I use acrobat to convert its swtch to another font.

I would like to retain this font face. I'm willing to purchase it. The font looks
quite good.

Do a Google search on "shruti font macintosh" (no quotes) and I think you'll
find what you want.

Hi Phillip,

Do a Google search on "shruti font macintosh" (no quotes) and I think you'll
find what you want.

I actually spent one hour yesterday trying that very thing.

Apparently the search engines disregard the word Mac.

And also even when there were hits ther might be 500 hits but most are re occuring
there only 5 or 6 actual sites. all are PC Centric

From what I can see on Alan Wood's site, you're right: It's only a Windows
font. If you want to be absolutely sure, I suggest writing Alan directly.
He drops in here from time to time but may miss this thread. Here's his

Thanks I sent the fellow a message.

Received message from fellow. bad news though. Although Shruti is a an Opentype font
and would work well on OSX. It appraently is a MicroSoft font and inorder to use it
I ould have to buy a PC.

I'm not going that route regardless of how much I ike a font.
