Hi!

Since i have installed Office 2004 on my OS X 10.3.4 i noticed
following error:

The shortcuts for the magnifier (apple + spacebar) and the dragtool
(apple) arent working. This applies to InDesign CS 3.01, Photoshop CS
8.0 and Illustrator CS 11.

I havent testet other applications.

Any hints?

Best regards,

You aren't the only one who has noticed this, but others have said no
problem in the same setup. It's been reported as an Entourage fault,
specifically that the shortcuts glitch out if Entourage is open at the same
time, but are fine if Entourage is closed. Can you test whether that's true
for you? Do all Office programs cause the glitch or just Entourage? If you
quit the programs, do they work again?

Everyone reporting it is in OS X.3.4 using Adobe Creative Suite and
Entourage 2004 but so are the people who *aren't* having problems.

The current thread on the Entourage ng is under "Entourage 2004 MacOSX.3 &
Adobe Products", you may want to chime in there and see if the people with
the problem can identify any other commonalities on their machine. So far no
solutions.

Hi!

Thats right, it only happens when Entourage is running. If Word, Excel
or Powerpoint are running at the same time with a Creative Suite
Application there is no fault. Only Etourage.

Thanks for your comment!

Thanks for confirming the problem *isn't* wider than originally reported...

As said, you may want to chime in on an ongoing thread on the
microsoft.public.mac.office.entourage group, under subject "Re: Entourage
2004 MacOSX.3 & Adobe Products" to see if you can help sort out the triggers
for this behavior. However, one person has reported that the gremlin just
went away after a week or so.
