shuts down and restarts when I delete a message

When I bought my computer (new) Outlook worked fine. Recently I loaded
office 2003 and since then outlook shuts down everytime i delete a message.
It does restart but it is not how it should be. Any suggestions as to how to
fix it??

Does the same behavior happen in safe mode? (Start > Run > Outlook.exe /safe
