Shutting down problem

I just closed Outlook 2007 but when I look at Processes in Task Manager
Outlook.exe is still there with memory usage of 45,764K!

Any idea what is causing this and how do I prevent this happening again? I
assume once the program is shut down there should be nothing in Processes
relating to Outlook.exe
