Side by Side Pictures

Kirk P.

I'm creating a user manual for an Access application I built. I've got 2
screen shots of the Access application, and have converted them to pictures.
I'm trying to present these 2 pictures side by side in my Word doc. I've
done a continuous section break, and finally got them side by side.

2 Problems: Prob 1: How do I get a little "space" or separation between
the 2 pictures? Right now, they are right next to each other. I've tried a
tab or a space, but pic 2 drops down to the next page.
Prob 2: After the presentation of the side by side pictures, how do I go
back to the original section formatting installed prior to the pictures?

Thanks!

An easy approach is to create a two-cell borderless table. Insert one
picture in each of the cells (In Line With Text) and center the cells or use
other paragraph formatting/cell padding settings to position them as
desired.

Hi;

Create two text boxes. Right
click the border of the first text box, click "Create text box link", and
click inside next text box. Now insert two pictures in the first text box.
When you insert spaces between picture placed one below the other, the
picture moves to the next box.. If the spaces excceds the
first text box, they automatically flows to the second box. This way you can
create side by side pictures.
