Hello,

Does anyone know how to change the accuracy for drawing? I don't need the
accuracy to be to the 4th decimal, only to the first. Being so accurate
causes all kinds of problems and ironically inaccuracies which leads to extra
work and headaches.

Thank you kindly,

Sam

Are you talking about the displayed precision or the actual precision?
You can change the displayed precision ... where is it causing you pain?

Example:

I want to draw a 45 deg line between two existing lines. When I draw it even
though snap and glue are on, the angle between the line almost always ends up
something like 45.0092 deg, and the length ends up something like 21.9089 m,
when it should be 45 deg and 22.0 m respectively.

The problem is that by the time you get your drawing layout completed
nothing lines up and you have loose ended lines and odd angles going
everywhere, and it looks like junk, so you end up spending many frustrating
hours making it look nice. When all this could be avoided if you can set the
accuracy to 1 decimal place or 2 at the users choose.

not to totally ruin your day...but actually displaying the 4 digits....it
handles many more.

for example: 0.0000000000000000000000000000001 !=0 in visio
(it actually knows the difference out to 12 0s....behaviors are different
for the two numbers...try setatrefexpr with offset)

lived the private little hell until I figured that out).

just thought I would throw you some sunshine.

Dear Vojo,

Thank you very much for the rays of sunshine. Makes me feel a whole lot
better knowing that there is a solution to this hell!

Could you tell me where in the tabs you find the setatrefexpr command (I am
not able to find the setting), then I will be on cloud 9.

Thank you much,

Sam
