Signature double line spacing

I want to add to my e-mails a signature which contains all important info
such as name, telephone number, etc., and also a small logo.

To add this logo I had to edit the signature in MS-Word and that somehow
leaves an hidden instruction in the signature causing it to appear in the
e-mail with double line spacing. Everytime I use it I have to mark it up and
change format to Normal to reduce line spacing to standard.

What is happening, and how can I correct it?

When you edit your signature on the hard returns use SHIFT - ENTER That
should eliminate the double spaces.

I think it has to do with HTML coding; ENTER= double space SHIFT- ENTER =
single space.

We saw it in our environment as well and it was our Word Specialist that knew
the fix.

Thanks,
