Signature field is grayed out can not make changes Outlook 2003

Hi,
I have a PC - WIndows XP Tablet, with Office 2003, everything was fine
until yesterday afternoon,
the signature field changed and is now grayed out, and it also changed
from the users signature to the Spam message. I found the files for
the Spam Message and copied the users signature, but it didn't helped.

I searched the web, Microsoft, but can not find anything, I changed it
from HTML, to Plain to Rich Text etc. I don't know what else to do, it
is my bosses PC.
