signature not found on replies

Outlook 2003. Have a user who gets this error message every time she
replies to any email.

"The signature (07yS) could not be located. The signature may have been
removed."

The 07yS in parenthesis are actually some non alphnumeric characters. Weird.

I checked and she does not have a signature set up at all.

What gives?
