Signatures Didn't Transfer From Outlook 2003 to 2007

I just upgraded from Outlook 2003 to 2007. When I go to Tools / Options /
Mail Format / Signatures my Signatures that used to be in Outlook 2003 are
not there. ("Select signature to edit" box is blank.) That would not be so
bad, but if I hit "New" and try to create a Signature, using the same name as
one of the Signatures I used to have in Outlook 2003, I get the following
message: "The name you entered is already in use. Choose a different name."
(Even though the "Select signature to edit" box is blank.) Any thoughts?
