Signatures in Outlook 2007

I have finally figured out why my CPU usage was spiking to 90+% when writing
e-mails in Outlook 2007. Apparently when I open e-mail with a signature in it
that includes two small jpegs it will spike and be extremly slow in letting
me input text. Slow being 5-10 seconds per charector.

Is there a way to work around this besides pasting my signature to every
e-mail before I send it out?

Do you mean the signature with the jpegs? I imagine the results would be the
same as not having the signature but I can test it.

Using another signature with no jpegs gives me normal results. There is no
noticable spike in the CPU usage.

I edited the jpegs with Word 2007. There must be something in the jpeg
itself that is causing the problem. This might indicate a bug in the MS Word
2007, but I can't be certain without more testing that I don't have time for.
:/

I will try another photo editor and see if I can get the CPU spikes to cease.
