Signatures Reset

When I select the default signature I've created under Tools > Options > Mail
Format everything is OK until I reboot the system. Then the signature in
Outlook rolls back to >none<. The signature is still available and can be
re-selected, however, it is an inconvenience to reset this default everytime
I reboot the system. Does anyone know how to cure this problem. I'm running
Outlook 2003 with Exchange.
