Signatures

Hi,

I will try this again. I originally posted this question in Outlook because
I couldn't find the Entourage discussion. With their help I am now there I
hope. And I hope this is Entourage for the MAC.

I have recently acquired a new MacBook Pro laptop. I purchased
Entourage with it because I love Outlook. I have set up my signature but
when I open a new email to send, I cannot get the signature to appear in the
new email. I have tried everything. Help!!

Also, if this discussion is not strictly for the MAC, it would be great if
you could put up a special section for Entourage for the Mac only. I believe
the two operating systems have their own set of problems.

To have your signature always appear:

Tools > Accounts > (your account) > Options > Default Signature

To insert it on a message-by-message basis:

Message > Signature

You've posted to the correct forum, this is the place for discussions
of Entourage.

Adam gave you the right answer to your signature problem.

Entourage is an application ONLY for the Mac, so this is the right
newsgroup.

I have the same problem, but silly as it may sound, when I am in my accounts
and highlight my address I cannot find "options" anywhere. I believe I have
updated Entourage faithfully. My previous version had this option until my
hard disc gave out.

Open Accounts under Tools in the Menu bar.

Select your Account from the list.

In the window that opens for that account, you should see these tabs in an
POP account:

Account Settings, Options, Mail Security

Click on the Options tab.

If you don't see this, send us a screenshot. You can post a screenshot link
using a service like ImageShack. Registration is not required in order to
upload files.

How To Post Screen Shots To Newsgroups

1. On your keyboard, press Command-Shift-4.
2. On your keyboard, press the space bar.
3. Click the window you want. A picture file will appear on the desktop.
4. Go to http://imageshack.us/.
5. Click Browse, then navigate to and select the picture file.
6. Click "host it!".
7. Paste the "Show image to friends" URL in a newsgroup message.
