Simple answer for the simple minded

Basically im looking for some1 to give me a simple answer.
I have office XP for students, i own both a laptop and a
desktop - can i install on both or not?

Why not go ahead and try to authenticate it by phone and explain it's for a
desktop / laptop and see what they say?

Why not actually go to the FAQ Page and read the correct answer? Quoted
