Simple chart query

I have a data value of 30/06/2004, however in the chart in
the chart it is showing as almost halfway between Jun and
Jul x axis lines which visually is incorrect. How can I
ensure that the axis lines are correctly aligned to the
beginining and end of each month?

Depending on what kind of a chart you have, with the chart selected, select Options | Chart Options... From the Axes tab, for the 'Category (X) axis' select 'Time-scale'
