Simple macro

I have a lot of experience with VBA and macros for Excel and Access but I've
never done anything in Word. I'm not sure how to start. As an example, I'd
like to create a macro with a keyboard shortcut that allows me to highlight a
phrase - then enter the keyboard shortcut - which will bold the phrase and
move it to the end of the paragraph (looking for Paragraph mark or Return or
whatever). So if you can show me the VBA code to do something like that - it
would be a good first step in my Word education. Thanks for any help on this.

Thanks Tony. I see that I need to use keyboard commands when recording a
macro. Do you know the command to get to the end of the line ? Thanks.

It's the End key.

For information about almost all the built-in keyboard commands, press
F1 and ask for "keyboard shortcuts".

It might also help to know that Ctrl+down arrow goes to the start of the
next paragraph.

Sorry - when I replied I forgot about the restrictions of using the mouse
when recording, but it seems you got there anyway.
