simple minus formula not working.

Cells
C17 the formula =180-D13 (180-19)
Answer should be 161, C17 just reads as text.
I tried putting the 180 in a different cell (L2) and using
=L2-D13 but still just reading as text, its not calculating.

Have I got the formula wrong or is it a formatting of the cell?
