simple project management tools

there is any simple project management tool is available
which can connect with project server easily and i can use instead of
project professional.
which may i download .

We are looking for the same thing. MS project has too large a learning curve
to roll-out to an enterprise of intermediate computer users, which includes
most of our project managers. We want to simply list tasks by project, add a
note or file to each task for detail and have the ability to assign that task
to someone. We would also like a comprehensive list of tasks for all
projects with a sort capability by person, project, etc.
