Simple question?

I have two tables, residents and assessments. one to many relationship. when I use the form wizard I can create a form to look up a resident and then I can click on the link to add an assessment but, it does not carry the resident ID over and there for the assessment is not linked to anyone. How do I fix this?

tblresidents.residentID does not carry over to the tblsassessments.residentId.

Any ideas? It's probbaly something really simple.

Never mind. Dumb problem. I got it.
