simple quick help with an Existing Excel Template

Hello, I am trying this resouce for the first time, maybe someone can help.

I downloaded this template
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/TC300007301033.aspx and would
like to add some more cateories but do not understand how. Can anybody help
me modify it?

You need some basic understanding of Excel. And then I would suggest posting
your question over in one of the Excel newsgroups.

Copy the Food range (K6:K18), paste the copied data next to the Food range
(select K6) and change the heading from Food to whatever category you want.
