Simple Troubleshoor? My inbox has duplicate new emails...

I recently switched to mac mail and then back again because I need the
"send later" function in Entourage.

After I imported the emails, set up rules and got Entourage back up
and running, new emails appear as duplicates. Its as if the server is
queried twice and Entourage says go ahead, take another copy!

I searched mictosofts web site for a fix but found no help files
associated with "duplicate emails in inbox".

Not sure what you mean by this.

I'm guessing that between the two mail clients and how you have your
accounts setup, you are getting duplicates. Other things that cause
duplicates is when a server "burps" (resets it's server) or you rebuild
Entourage, you can get duplicates. It's fairly common for server problems to
cause this.

Found this script describing what Diane also said.
"This script will quickly delete duplicate messages even from enormous
folders such as the Inbox. The situation typically arises especially
when importing Entourage 2001 or Outlook Express messages into
Entourage X after using them both simultaneously for a while."
