Since I Bought a New Imac, Excel Doesn't Work

I recently bought a refurbished iMac and transferred my applications
and files from my old iMac. Since then, MS Excel has stopped
functioning. (Microsoft Excel X for the Mac). I can't format, use any
functions or even perform simple arithmetic in Excel cells. My version
of Excel came installed with my old iMac. I have no installation disks
or any paperwork from Microsoft. Anybody have any ideas what I should
do?

AFAIK, iMacs have never shipped with full versions of Microsoft Office,
so if you bought the old iMac as new, you should have an install CD.

If you bought the old computer used, and Office came with it, then the
person you bought it from should have transferred the disk to you in
order for you to be using it legally.

If you can't get the disk from the person you bought it from, you're
probably stuck buying a new copy of Office.
