All users (75) are complaining that their system is slow. We're seeing frequent lockups just using word, excel or outlook etc and the systems are all really slow now since the deployment. We were on Office 2000 before. The majority of the systems are 1.5 Ghz or above customs with Windows 2000 on them. The others are Dell's same CPU speed with Windows XP Pro on them. All have at least 256 RAM, some with 512MB.
I cannot find a reason for this and as the Administrator it's becoming my daily massive migrain as there doesn't appear to be an answer to this.
I know that with every version of office/windows you can expect a little slow down on older hardware, however that's NOT whats happening here. There's "slow systems" then there's the problem we're having.
