Since the Windows Update, Excel closes when running macro

Ever since I got the latest Windows update, with all the security features,
one of my macros that uses weblinks causes Excel to close, without any error
messages. I've had this happening with some other programs also, they just
close automatically with no comment. Does anyone know what I need to do, to
make Windows allow my macros to run?

I have macro security at its lowest setting in Excel.
