Single Instance and Seperate Projects

Can I have a single instance. And totally isolated projects in that single
instance?
With Project managers, Portfolio Managers, etc... being totally walled off
from other projects?

I am trying to set security, but there are still areas that I can see other
projects.

I thought the RBS should separate everything?

So here is what I tried:
Create new RBS
Create new Group - New Project Managers. Give the same security as Project
Managers.
In the Categories section. Have the same as Project Manager. Except have
New Projects (see below) and not have My Organization
In the Categories section select New Projects. Have the same Permissions as
My Projects. Except allow Assign Resource and View Enterprise Resource
Data.
Create new Category - New Projects. Give the same security as My Projects.
In the Resources section select the first 3 checkboxes. (The first 2 should
have been selected when setting up just like My Projects)
Create New User
* Assign a new RBS to user
* Assign Groups to New Project Managers
* Assign Categories to My Organizations and My Personal Projects

Sign in as the new user
Go to My Tasks
Select New > Personal Activity
Plan Owner can see all the users. Not just my RBS users.

Also
New Activities >> Summary Information >> Owner : I can see All resources.
Status Reports >> New Requests >> Resources : I can see All resources.

thanks for any help

Greg:

Sounds like you need a consultant, not a news group. Your question is way
too far reaching and is loaded with variables that are impossible to address
through a newsgroup post. Can you do what you want? Probably. Should you?
I'm not sure. If you have two totally isolated user groups that do not share
resources, then you should probably setup two instances for server; one for
each resource pool.
