single invitations made repeating

My invitations to meetings are received by others as repeating. The same
happens in reverse with invitations they send me.

It sounds like you & your colleagues are using a custom form that has
recurrence set up by default. I suggest you repeat your question in one of
the microsoft.public.outlook.* newsgroups.
