Single level timesheet approval

Hello - we are using Project Server 2007 and have only one level of approval for timesheets. E.g., Resource A submits a timesheet to Manager B. While the timesheet does show as approved, the "Pick next approver" box opens with Manager B's manager as the default. We would like to terminate the approval process with Manager A. Is it possible to disable the "Pick next approver" box after the first approval?

Your Project Server administrator needs to do the following:

1. Log into PWA with administrator permissions.
2. Click the Server Settings link in the Quick Launch menu.
3. Click the Timesheet Settings and Default link in the Time and Task
Management section.
4. Select the "Fixed Approval Routing" option.
5. Click the Save button.

Thanks Dale - I've used the fixed approval, unfortunately, resources need the flexibility to select the approver in the event their manager is out. I could use fixed approval routing if there was an option for timesheet managers to assign a proxy to approve during their absence...do you know if that is possible?

Nope, it is not possible for a timesheet approver to designate a proxy in
his/her absence. This is functionality that is needed, but is missing in
the software. Hope this helps.
