I would like to have a mail merge field in my outlook contact form
that is automatically composed of other name and address fields but
still editable unless I "lock" the field by a check box selector
("Address proved"). The idea is to check and validate the address
layout of a given address, so as to have a single mail merge field
with the complete name and address instead of having to create the
address in Word out of several fields. I want to use the "hobbies"
field because of its availability for import and export.
I have tried with the instructions given by Sue Mosher in
http://www.win2000mag.com/Articles/Index.cfm?ArticleID=21070 using the
field properties "calculate this formula when I compose a new form",
but I find this does not work with field content I am only about to
enter when creating the item.
Is there a programming solution to this?
The question that follows would be how to bind a selector to the field
and to install a validation procedure in case the address fields are
modified while the field is "locked" by the selector.
Thank your very much for your kind support.
