Hello,
I am receiving a new PC shortly so will be making the jump from a desktop
system to a notebook. The new notebook will run the latest version of
Office. This notebook will become my PC for use at home AS WELL AS my work
PC at the office.
The main question I have deals with Outlook. Can one Outlook (not Outlook
Express) installation be configured to accept e-mails from multiple
networks? For example, at home I connect to Comcast to retrieve my personal
e-mails so my e-mail address ends in Comcast.Net. Any e-mail coming from
Comcast goes to Outlook on my PC. What I want to do is keep that feature
ALONG WITH the ability of connecting with my office e-mail and have the
e-mail flow to the same installation of Outlook. I am fine if this requires
two folders within the same Inbox of the Outlook installation (i.e., Home
and Work folders). Better yet, can Outlook be configured to keep Home and
Work completely separate (i.e., separate SENT folders)?
To sum it up, using a single Outlook installation on my notebook can I use
the same PC (when at home) to receive e-mails addressed to my "Comcast.net"
e-mail address AND receive e-mails to the same PC (when at work) addressed
to my "work.com" account?
