Yes, you could certainly do this, but you would have to create custom Groups
and custom Categories to control what Views users see for each site. Hope
this helps.

Now I'm lost. Why did you create another site when you said you wanted to
create custom Views instead of additional sites? Please elaborate.

Hi Dale,

My requirments is a bit strange,My client wants to see
projectplans, views of different sites(i,e from different database
which i have generated using editsite utility) in the same PWA. For
this i have thought like i will add an dropdown list in PWA,which
contains all the sites. On selecting any site i will populate the
views and projectplans of that site in portfolioview.asp page.

Is my approch right and can i go ahead with this? I am finding a bit
difficulty in understanding the code in portfolioview.asp to populate
data in this page, Can u explain me about this if possible.

Thanks,
Ranjan

Your process is totally flawed. Given your client's requirements, you don't
need to add another Project Server instance. Instead, create a custom
enterprise Project outline code called site, populate it with a list of
sites, and make it a Required field. Your PM's must select a site for every
current and future project using Project - Project Information to be able to
save their projects. Then from there, build one or more custom PWA views
that show the site information based on the value that your PM's select for
each project. I think that will meet your client's reporting needs to see
project information for multiple sites in PWA. Hope this helps.
