sitemaps

Phil,

Do a google search for sitemaps. You cannot generate one in Pub, AFAIK,
but there are sites that do this for free and then give you the code to
add to your page.

Thanks. One other thing. I can't find the source files for the website to
add the code. How do I know which ones they are and will any changes I make
be automatically uploaded next time I publish?

Try using the insert html code fragment feature to insert the site map code
into a Publisher page. Generally it is a bad idea to try to modify the
source code, as you would have to do that every time you Publish.

I've tried using one of the free sitemap generators but first I am required
to upload a txt file into the root file of my URL. How do I do this in
Publisher?

That depends on what kind of uploading protocol you use. If you are using
FTP, just open Windows Explorer and/or My Network Places and click on the
ftp connection to your site that you have there. After making the
connection, just drag and drop the file right alongside the index.htm file
and the index_files folder which are in the root directory. If you made a
HTTP connection, that might also be in the Network Places. Alternatively,
just login to the file manager on your host, and use the file manager to
upload the single file.
